Therapeutic Properties of
Tiger Eye
Tiger eye is universally thought to bring good fortune and to protect from
the "Evil Eye". It is often mentioned as bringing luck and wealth. It is
sometimes used in money and spells.
The golden brown Tiger eye is thought to be ruled by the Sun. It is thought
to bring courage during dark times. Roman soldiers wore Tiger Eye for protection
during battle.
The golden tiger eye is an important gemstone for the 3rd Chakra or Navel
Chakra.
Tiger eye promotes clear-eyed vision. It helps us to see ourselves and the
world around us more perceptively. It reminds us the importance of being
attentive. When we keep our eyes wide open, we are more apt to act appropriately
and at the appropriate moment. If we approach life in that perspective, we will
have less stress, and we will live longer. We will embrace life as an exciting
learning experience.
The Blue/gray tiger eye (also known as Hawk's Eye or Falcon's Eye) is said to
give the ability to see the complete truth and forgive without the crippling
effect of emotion. This is considered the height of Spirituality and
Consciousness. This gemstone, therefore, vibrates to the 6th Chakra and above.
Red Tiger Eye is said to improve the ability to speak and even give the
wearer a desire to orate. It is believed to vibrate to the Throat Chakra (5th).
Natural Healers use Tiger Eye to increase practicality and common-sense.
Tiger Eye is also thought to increase psychic power as it resembles an eye
(Third Eye).
Tiger Eye is beneficial in helping a person's confidence. It is thought to be
a balancing, grounding gemstone.
Tigereye is useful as an aid to help heal eye problems, diverticulosis, and
night vision. It also has a beneficial effect on the spine and related
conditions.
Next time when you feel that things are getting out of control around you and
you are getting tense and stressed, look at that tigereye ring or pendant you're
wearing. Do you hear it telling you: stop, look, listen and think before you do
any leaping. Do not do anything impulsively.
