Care for Pearls
Pearls are delicate. They require some tender loving care and they will
give you generations of use.
Pearls are sensitive to heat, chemicals and abrasion. Store them in a cloth bag
or their own box away from contact with other materials. Protect pearls from
chemicals such as hairspray and perfume.
Wipe pearls with a damp cloth after wearing. Clean them occasionally in mild soapy water. This is all the care you need.
Do not place pearl in an ultrasonic or steam cleaner under no circumstances. If
the pearls in your jewelry settings in rings and bracelets is not protective,
the piece should be considered for occasional use only, rather than daily wear.
